Terms of use
Eiffel (eiffel.app) and the Eiffel website (www.ex3d.com) are provided by FE3O4 S.A.S. ("we"). These terms apply when you use them. By using them you accept these terms. If you use Eiffel for an organisation, you accept them for it.
1. Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use Eiffel in your browser, for personal or professional work, under these terms. Eiffel, its code, design and built-in content remain ours (or our licensors'). You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, decompile or scrape the software, or try to get around its limits or security, except where the law allows it despite this clause.
2. Beta
Eiffel is in active development (beta). Features change, may break or be removed, and the service may be interrupted. Keep your own copies of important work (File › Export / Download). We do our best to keep your projects safe, but we cannot promise the service will be free of errors.
3. Your content
Your projects, drawings, models, images and renders stay yours. You let us store, copy and process them only to run the service for you (saving, backing up, showing, rendering, sharing with the people you choose). If you publish something as public, everyone can see it and make their own copy in their browser. You are responsible for everything you upload or create: you confirm you own it or have the right to use it, and that it breaks no law and no one's rights.
4. Acceptable use — no copyrighted or illegal material
You must not upload, store, share or publish with Eiffel:
- material you have no right to use — for example commercial 3D models, textures, drawings, renders, photographs, plans or software taken from others without a licence, cracked or pirated assets, or work of a client or employer you may not share;
- anything illegal under the law of Colombia or of the place where you live — including child sexual abuse material, terrorist or violent-extremist content, content that incites violence or hate, non-consensual intimate images, stolen personal data, malware, or anything that facilitates fraud or other crime;
- material that infringes someone's privacy, image, trade-secret, trademark or copyright rights;
- anything meant to harm, attack, overload or get around the limits of the service or of other people's accounts.
We do not check every file, but we act on reports and on what we find. If you believe something on Eiffel infringes your rights, write to [email protected] with what, where, and why; we remove or block it promptly while we look into it, and we may share the report with the account holder.
If you break this section, we may remove the content at once, suspend or close your account, and report it to the authorities where the law requires or allows. A suspension or closure for breaking these terms is permanent or for the time we decide, and you are not refunded any fee, plan or balance you paid or prepaid. You stay responsible to us and to third parties for what you uploaded.
5. Public showcase rooms and chat
In public rooms: be respectful; no harassment, hate, sexual content, spam or advertising, no personal data of others. Messages are moderated automatically and may be reported; we may mute or remove anyone and turn chat off at any time. Chat is not stored and disappears after 5 minutes — do not share anything you would not say in a public place.
6. Accounts, plans and storage
Keep your sign-in private; you are responsible for what is done with it. Tell us at once if you think it was misused. One person, one account; do not create accounts to get around a suspension or a limit. To create an account you need a valid email address, which we use for the confirmation code and to recover your password.
Free plan. Free accounts have 500 MB of storage in total (projects, saves, backups, rendered images, textures and models you upload, and your profile photo) and up to 3 active invitation links, each valid for 5 days, which you can renew. When the storage is full you can still open, export and delete your work, but cannot add more until you free space or change plan. Limits and plans may change; we will tell you in the app first, and what you already stored will not be deleted because a limit changed without notice.
Invitations. A link lets the person who has it view one project, read-only, until it expires or you revoke it. Send it only to the people it is for; you are responsible for what they are shown.
7. Your profile photo and avatar
You may add a photo of yourself. It is used as your avatar in shared 3D views and as your picture in calls when your camera is off, and it is visible to the people you work with. Upload only a photo you are allowed to use, of yourself, that follows section 4. You can remove or replace it at any time in your account.
8. Third-party services and content
Some built-in materials, models and textures come from others under their licences (many CC0); the AI assistant uses the provider and key you choose, under that provider's terms and prices; embedded videos follow their sites' rules. We are not responsible for third-party services.
9. Contributions ("Buy me a coffee")
A contribution is a voluntary payment to FE3O4 S.A.S. to support the development of Eiffel. It is not a charitable donation, buys no product, licence or service and creates no obligation for us; it is processed by the platform you use, under its terms. Because nothing is sold, contributions are not refunded, except where the law or that platform's rules require it — if you sent one by mistake, write to [email protected].
10. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (zero for free use). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example for intent, gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer).
11. Suspension and ending
You can stop using Eiffel at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account, with or without notice, if these terms are broken (in particular section 4) or if we must by law; as set out in section 4, no refund is due in that case. For any other reason we close an account, or the whole service, with reasonable notice and refund the unused part of anything you prepaid. If you think a suspension is a mistake, write to [email protected].
12. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the version date above changes and important changes are announced in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, and the courts of Bogotá D.C. decide any dispute — without taking away the protection consumers have under the law of the country where they live (in Colombia, the Estatuto del Consumidor, Ley 1480 de 2011).
